CL.CA Maybe getting high(er). Don’t know if many here
would trade this exchange, but looks like it could break upward
soon for a run to that $3.40ish trendline. Just got upgraded to a
Zack’s “strong buy”, which seems odd for a weed stock, lol. On the
weekly, there appears a lot of bagholders from 2021, or should I
say baggie holders? (groan)
Yep. Scott Galloway is hilarious when criticizing himself for
being “addicted to the affirmation of strangers,” and pretty
accurate about the seduction of the whole deal.
Canuck energy continues up. Long term breakouts (light volume so
far). Curious about a p/b and retest. More inflation mojo till
then, and the chatter I hear is getting bulled up about resources
needed for electricity short/intermediate term to power
AI/Crypto/Cloud, as more nuclear is decades away (and hydro sources
may dry up some).

Haha, probably too much of an old school energy play to benefit
that much from AI, Digi. I believe they are cutting 650 jobs this
year, and took some writedowns (including a “goodwill” of
some sort) last year that make recent results look like a miracle.
The 7.5% div is supposedly guaranteed to grow for next few
years, which might be attracting investors as fed rate cuts
approach. Motley Fool has been talking up their renewable plays as
a hidden growth engine (or liability, depending on your
take).

Ah, memories of the Nortel days (and it ruling the TSX). My
cousin’s first engineering job was with them shortly before they
blew up, which worked out as he made much more $ with RIM (until
they blew up much later!). Gives me nostalgia for the days of
Canuck innovation, before so many gave up and just rode the housing
ponzi, lol.

Lol, when I saw “up here“, Mr. Wonderful, and taxes together it
made sense. Am in the PST free jurisdiction of AB, but when I visit

BW is an interesting case. Some worries they may not stay
afloat, but used to be a big player in boilers for nuclear, which
has some intermediate term prospects again. In the meantime there’s
coal to NG conversions, and they mentioned hydrogen in one press
release. Phoenix potential perhaps?
