Here is a link to an older study that makes the case for MaxPain
option price "pinning" on Options Expiration day relating only to a
group of "suspect manipulated stocks". What I think is a telling,
is when the S&P 500 stock index options "pin" on OE day......
what does that suggest to you?.......

I've been using that OIP link for a couple of months. At
least Bloomberg covers the the news releases in near
realtime. I'm outside the US and it helps me rationalize the
index movements. It's good when I'm on the road too......

Maybe they reverse split, maybe not. The Profunds guy told
me, if it hits zero, they close the fund and there is no equity for
owners of shares...................................

Yup, amazing how that works out. With GDX there were more calls at 47 so it closed at 46.29........ This site works pretty good for MaxPain...

generally speaking if a fund goes to zero it gets closed..... no more equity for U.....
