I believe that the miners will continue to be in a bull market
for the next 18 months or so, and that money will flow from the
biggest miners, to the juniors (already happening in GDXJ/JNUG)),
and then to the microcap miners. The microcaps will have the
biggest % gains over the course of this bull market. jmho.

It's being aggressively pumped by a group of well-known P&D
types over in Investors Hub and probably elsewhere. VGZ was their
target a few days ago, and now they have moved on to THM. Buyer
beware...

You summed up the ZH phenomenon very artfully. The seemingly
relentless negativity by some members (and on other sites I follow,
especially PM sites) gets really wearisome sometimes. It's
important to have both sides on the issues that affect us, but I'm
always intrigued at the need of many to feed at the trough of
negativity and pessimism. I guess it fills a human need, but it's
nice to have some balance on occasion.

My Stockcharts is having problems this morning. The "last" price
is accurate in the heading, but the chart itself is not accurate.
Anyone else having problems?

Matt, the GDX mechanical system, according to the statistics
table you included in today's newsletter, went on a sell signal
today. Obviously we can't trade on that today, since the market
wasn't open, and assuming GDX gaps lower big time tomorrow morning,
how will you calculate the gain on that trade? Just curious...

Yes, GDX started dipping after the SPX launched up a little
while ago. That said, GDX is still holding up pretty well relative
to the move in the SPX. Maybe another small clue on a bottoming
process for the miners actually happening -- or maybe just wishful
thinking, lol.

Thanks for the explanation zitron. Always appreciate you sharing
your experience and insights. Do you have any targets in mind for
GDX for the near-term (i.e., more than intra-day)?

after the close, and the futures are already down some from the
close. It's a tougher call whether to take a short now or

So you were looking to short for a 10-15 cent move down in GDX? I'm curious about your thinking behind the risk-reward on that trade.

The SPX daily chart looks very constructive, making it hard to think about exiting the SPY Pro system as per Matt's Friday email. Any thoughts?
