Oooh, I love it when you say "respect the trend!"

Well, I shorted at 59.50, and so far it seems to be going my way.

Matt or Steve, GDX has crossed the GDX:GLD rato uptrend line, at least for the moment. I'm using freestockcharts.com. Are seeing the same thing?

TLT has broken the downtrend line.

For me, a novice to the stock market generally (began paying attention in fall '08), and technicals in particular (joined BPT in August), this represents the main reason to devote more % to the GDX swing system for my admittedly small accounts. It really won't matter what the market does if I'm trading GDX; just obey the mechanical signals. Does this make sense? I'd love to hear any feedback.

This one's only been around since 2007. All-time high of 19 and change.  Took a huge hit thereafter; looks to be basing for the last couple years. Two things caught my eye: 1) it's trading at six times earnings (YGE for ex is 18x earnings), and 2) it hasn't broken out like many of the other solars.

Well, I went ahead and bought some at 89.15.

Today, TLT has retraced 50% of the advance off the 5th wave low of $88.14. So, it seems like a good Fib spot to take an early initial position long, yes?

I sure hope so, I went long JJC.

well, a reversion back to the mean, i.e. a positive surprise, is at least as likely.

JJC basically hit the uptrend line, so I covered. Watching for a bounce here to re-enter.

I shorted JJC yesterday at 61.52. Tight stop over the highs.

Matt, is that a symmetrical triangle on SHZ? I'm looking at a 30 min chart, triangle upper line starts at the high from Feb 8.

dunno, probably sell some if it moves up to that gap eventually.

this one's a Weinstein base, I'm holding for the long run.

ANDS looking like a nice consolidation yesterday, with declining volume. C'mon breakout!
