Cotton looks like it has finished retesting the breakout from a
2 year bottoming process and is ready to continue up again.
Supportive MA's and price action.

There's at least one fake Reuters account on Twitter making that
DB claim. Check the followers of the account - if few and junky,
and only a handful of posted stories - it's fake.

Cotton futures made a hammerstick in the dailies yesterday -
retesting the breakout from last month, also bouncing of the EMA
100. The weeklies and monthlies are looking good too.

Right after the bell closed... They say they intend to restore
democracy, as compared to the semi-dictator Erdogan. Unclear if
they have seized the power successfully yet. Since 1960 they've had
3 coups before this one. Normal business in that muslim
country...
Can you comment on which subsystem is taking the long this
time? Many national equity indexes got absolutely trashed on
Friday, amongst others the IBEX (shown below - daily chart for
MAY-JUNE) was down 17% at most during Friday, even though it closed
higher. The stable and industrious Germany had a similar
development with the DAX crashing about 11,5% from the Thursday
high to the Friday low, before ending at roughly 8,3% lower. I've
heard numerous large players got whiped out all over the world. And
Steve mentioned this stat: "
Since 1990 when the SPX
has lost more than 1.5% on a Friday, Monday saw a lower low
87 / 91 times. 95.6%."
Maybe that long works - but the risk appears to be stacked
high against it to my opinion. At least some follow on on Monday
appears likely. We do have quarter end at Thursday, of course.
Maybe some windows dressing is to be expected.
Could you please elaborate on this and give us your
assessment in the weekend newsletter or here in the chat?

Hi Matt/Steve!
The DAX is pinching tremendousy in the dailies. The MA20, 50
and 200 are gathered in less than a 0,5% interval. The charts look
pretty bearish to me. It would be interesting to hear your take on
it.

Yeah, I've learnt several things from you guys. I appreciate
what you're doing. But you sometimes make different assessments
than me, for good or worse. I enjoy the additional
perspective.

Yes - agri's appear to potentially be close to a break out.
Could you or Steve take a look at futures of Wheat, Corn, Cattle,
the Soy complex, etc and give us your views?

I'm looking at the dailies in the coffee futures - and they look
pretty good to me. I don't see why you would wanna sell now if you
use the dailies as a time perspective.
MA's are aligned beneath, possible IHS where the right

While I agree on the charts - with the futures rolling over
tomorrow - how do you trade this if you have at least some days/a
couple of weeks horizont on this trade? Buying the May contract at
16,35 (as compared to 13,70 for the april contract due tomorrow)
takes away a lot of the potential profit on this trade.

Is it better to roll on those days because the volume is the best and prices are the closest between the two contracts - or something else?
