SIMO Short Update

Great short, but the microsecond pop-n-drop got my stop at the open.  What you said about the first 15 min is true.

OIH

Posted by skyfish on 4th of Sep 2013 at 12:10 pm

TD Ameritrade does not have XLE to short so I have been watching OIH.  Do the candles since August 26 qualify as a 3 push?

FSLR Update

Posted by skyfish on 9th of Jul 2013 at 07:52 pm

SCTY up $1.16, FSLR down $1.14, low of the day was 44.75 which is also the alarm price.  BB pinching and maybe good for a short?

OXY

Posted by skyfish on 19th of Jun 2013 at 11:45 am

OXY seems to be setting up for an other short.  I was stopped out of a short a week ago with a small profit, then found out of the 5 days I held it, the last was the owners of record date and I paid for the dividend.  The small profit became smaller.  Should be clear for 3 months now.

Will wait until after "He who can destroy the world in an afternoon" speaks around 2pm to place orders.

If it was in $100 bills, you would need 3,740, 50-ton dump trucks to move it.

Will the XLE/OIH system be taking a short?

I did not know they could do
this as the shorts were done last week when share were available.

You have a potential forcible buyback of your short position of AMEX SPDR ENERGY SELECT INDEX (XLE). At this time, <200> of these shares are not available to borrow. What you need to know: - TD Ameritrade will attempt to borrow the shares from other brokerage firms. However, if we are unable to obtain the shares, you may need to buy back the stock. - Please note that TD Ameritrade may take forcible action at any time to ensure the short position is covered. - When holding a security short, you must remember that you are borrowing shares from other clients. To determine whether shares are available to short, TD Ameritrade Clearing pools all shares of a given security held on margin and then calculates the number that are available. - Keep in mind that this Potential Forcible Buyback Notice is a new notice. Any previous notices sent may still be in effect. If you have any questions, please contact a Client Services representative. Thank you. We appreciate your business. Sincerely, Colleen Kellerman Credit/Risk Department TD Ameritrade
