I agree with your assessment. This site is second to
none and provides plenty of opportunities to learn not
only from Steve and Matt, but from all of you.
I've learned more than I ever could on my own and now I have to
apply all that I've learned.
It's clear to all that volume is no longer a requirement for a
sustained rally. We've had some of the lowest volume days in the
last week but we up big.
At some point this will come home to roost but not now.
We compete against EK and they are in a uphill battle with the
market plan on printers and ink. It will take years for the install
base to generate the ink annuity. They just gererated some
cash but they are buring the candle at both ends. Be careful.

They are reinventing themselves as a cloud and gaming play in Taiwan. Volume is picking up and the chart looks promising.

One consideration i the dividend
Without special Dividend COST is down about 65 cents

One consideration i the dividend to the CEO - 14MM. Costco borrows on the cheap and will repurchase shares as well.
They have no problem taking this obligation on.

VIX vs SPX

Unfortunately GS is taking advantage of the tools presented to them. We can't do anything about it until it until the gov't cuts off the cheap money.
