I think that kind of data is a little deceptive. It just
reinforces the effect of long term compounding - in this case
compounding of inflation. Obviously a dollar is not what it used to
be, but then, people have a lot more of them than they used to,
right? And would you have wanted to be around in the 30's when the
purchasing power of the dollar was increasing? That's because most
people didn't have dollars to spend, so supply of goods outstripped
demand for them.

Fundamentals aren't that bad. Well, not TLRY horrible anyway.
92% EPS growth projected in the coming year. Not sure if that takes
them to profitability or not though.

Never seen such a tame day on the STS tables, but makes sense
with the flat action of the day. The only big name moving is GOOGL,
defying Matt's volatility short signal for now.
Well, FDX STS jumping quite a bit after its gap up.

A rising market doesn't *have* to be indicative of a bubble,
right? Sometimes there are transformative events that shift the
landscape. I know that valuation is your big concern, but has
current valuation always indicated that the market was due to
collapse?

I think Trump has brought a lot of his troubles on
himself, but this civil judgment is clearly excessive (which has
long been true with lawsuits against big corporations).

Pretty cynical take. Some of us are still in Silicon Valley and
do not fit the description of your typical Reddit employee,
although I'm sure the demographic differs quite a bit from the old
semiconductor industry.

I don't know about that. IWM is at highs for the year, which KRE
is not. Plus, does MDY have some equivalent to TNA for IWM so that
it can be played leveraged?

Anybody have any more insight on AKBA than me? They had a drug approval and popped pre-market, but then dropped like a rock after the open.

Yeah, true. I think In 'n Out is still relatively reasonable, but unfortunately that doesn't span all the way to the Midwest.
Denny's was the big shocker to me. Double the prices of five years ago, if my estimates are right.
