The pattern hadn't completed, needed a 3rd touch of the bottom
support. Obviously, it won't play out now but even if it had I was
looking for a weak bounce to add to my short positions.

I hedged 50% of my position today with a double short etf
(canadian version, hsd.to).
If we get some weakness tomorrow i'm reasonably covered (or a
wave 5 down).
With the bounce off 1200, my loss was cut in half (i went off
the reservation and delayed entries 1 & 2) and i'm comfortable
holding for a larger bounce.

Went long HXD between 13800-13850 and covered between 13200 -
13300. I entered HXU on Thurs and Fri. I may be a bit early but I
think we are due for a bounce.

I find your posts disappointing. You cite concerns about having
to refresh your browser. You want emails on off days
telling you to do nothing.
Take responsibility for your part in this. We couldn't be given
an easier task:
Receive email (that happens automatically), read email (straight
forward), visit SPY thread (yes, it will require a few mouse
clicks), complete instructions as directed (probably more mouse
clicks required).
You should spend less time being offended and concerned with
fellow posters and focus on the task at hand.

For those who trade the double leverage TSX funds take note of
trend changes when volumes exceeds 250,000 shares. It often marks a
short term trend reversal.

I entered HXU on that

I entered HXU on that chart yesterday morning. I redrew it again this afternoon. We'll see if it plays out. I'd be happy with either target.
Here's a closer look at it. I wasn't overly concerned that the wedge target would be hit, again because there is no negative divergence.
In a small bull flag currently.

Thanks. I found that last night through my brokerage account but it said the volume was around 10,000 shares. Clearly that is wrong.
I was also trying to find a Canadian ETF to mirror it but I can't locate one.
Thanks again
