Ok,I only noticed this MACD/TICK trick yesterday but so far so good!!!

$NYAD gapped down this am and I've noted on my Tick cummulative chart that when the MACD ends the day either over bought or sold, the markets often reverse the next morning.

Here is my daily SPY chart, I'm getting a swing sell signal today and I've also circled all the time when black candles like we have today denote a change in direction with these stockcharts charts. It doesn't work all the time but maybe 80% it does.

I'm getting a sell signal via my work today for GDX, notice the CRB has been in a down trend too.

on the 5 min. day trading charts I use, the bb bands look like a big move is coming.

Last year we had a period where every monday was an up day, this year it seems Tuesdays are gapping up most of the time.

I'm outta here, be careful and enjoy the long weekend, turn off the compoooters and spend time with family an friends.

the CRB went on a sell signal yesterday and I already posted a sell on the energy sector, last nights BPT newsletter also showed USO turning down.

I've been in DUG for two days since I got the buy signal on this DIG chart, if the Iranians don't cause trouble it should be a good trade.

I have work to do outside but the $NYAD just gave a sell signal, I made 33 cents X 500.  

Lets see if 21 holds the Vix?

I'll post the links I'm using at Stockcharts.com these are still works in progress and they do look like they would work well by using the QLD & QID etf, just change the symble so you track the Nasdaq and not the spx, such as use $NAAD instead of $NYAD. you may need to adjust the size for your monitors. I use 1600 and it fits mine fine but I'm told some can't see the whole chart at that size.

Thanks Donald, the dentist was yesterday and I haven't had any fun at a dentist since they stopped giving nitrus.  You got me on Detrended Price Oscillators, are they known by another name?

This is one of the  day trading tools I use, it is only a 5 min. chart so that should be obivious. I've shrunk the charts so hopefully you can all see them on your monitors. whenthese 4 charts give the same signal at the same time it usually makes money. I trade 500 shares at a time of either the SDS or SSO. They might work better on the Q's but I have not yet tried that.
