another thing to look for is bollinger bands on a 5 min VIX vs
an SPX chart, Sometimes I find that the bollinger bands pinch
on the VIX when it's not showing up on the SPX or SPY and therefore
can gave earlier trade notifications. Today it all occurred
at about the same time however.
well basically bollinger bands were tight most of the afternoon
on the VIX, then finally tightened up on the SPX.
also notice the
Elder impulse
systemon the VIX, when it goes above the middle bollinger
band and goes green, watch out, the same of course is true when
it's below. Nice this occurred well below the breakdown
