For the moment the deal is with the same lender. They continue
in court and in some point maybe the bank come with some agreement
or after 18 month they can sale to other lender for 40%. The new
owner of the papers will make a new agreement with the
resident.
18 month is the time by law to sale the paper and NOT TO REFUND
THE MONEY TO GOV...
In Florida real state brokers are broken....... I don't see
regular sales. Only a few under water values homes or a few
offshore buyers with 100% payment.
The most important ...... in every local channel you have
lawyers pushing owners to NOT TO PAY the mortgages and sue the
banks to get at the end discounts and better conditions.
I know a few friends doing the same. If you sue the bank
when the bank come to you because you didn't pay for months
you have the opportunity to avoid foreclosure and
reach a deal for part of the actual mortgage.
All the process can take more than a year and in the time you
don't pay mortgage, taxes, insurance etc...
This situation will take every city and bank in Florida to
chapter 11xxxxxx
