You would think that Real Estate would be more shielded from this chaos!  Why is it getting hit so bad as well?  Is it because these stocks are also in so many ETFs and Funds that they too get sucked into the ether?

Wow, when does this energizer bunny quit - that is the narrowest channel I have seen in a long time.  Because of Triple Witching Day, i am afraid to short it without a more objective entry.  Yes, Moving Average Ribbon are very spread on the 15min and 60min.  Yes, reversion to mean has to come to roost soon.  But, with the China stocks all over the place, Energy and Metals all over the place, how does one navigate this?

Wow, all those beat up names who lose big money, negative PE, no revenue growth are powering higher back to life.   ASAN, DASH, OKTA, PTON,  WISH, PLTR, RBLX, DKNG, HOOD, TWTR all rocketing again for 3rd day.  Sustainable? Investors really now interested?     I am dying to short these suckers.   [when I edit a post, why all the extra HTML added??]

I would define that last 90 min as a "rip your face off" rally as Steve and Matt put it.

Very nice chart Rareto25!  If it really is a repeating pattern, then this is the 3rd and final touch to the support line.  Previous 4th touches were the break down. (but nothing is ever that clean)

What are the Extended Trading Hours?  Vary By Security?

It used to be 7am Central Time to 8:30am CST and then 3pm to 7pm CST.  But, In TDAmeritrade ThinkOrSwim, I see some of the securities I am trading are starting at 6am, and some of the big one - AAPL, MSFT, etc.. seem to have even longer hours.  Do the hour vary my security?  (I will not beleive it) . What is the deal and how can I tell specifically for a specific stock?  (do not want surprises).  [this question does not involve SPY, QQQ, etc which are 24/7)

Has anybody tried trading with Earnings Breakout after hours?
It seems that when earnings are announced at 3:01, 3:10, etc.. many stocks "jump" and breakout one way or another.  Anybody tried scalping in that situation.  I tried a few times and seems to work.  Example: Watch carefully, watch carefully, finger on button, jumps upward, BUY LIMIT at the ASK (to make sure you get it), and ride the trend for a short period (according to your style).  or watch, watch, SELL at the BID, ride it down a while, etc...    Anybody try this?

Reditt WallStreetBets - I have just read a bunch of posts and seen what is really going on here.  I encourage you to do the same.  I had heard that a bunch of young traders on robinhood were making highly leveraging un-researched "bets", but I had no idea to the level they have taking it.  It is an entire army of people dead set to hunt down and kill the portfolios and positions of any boomer, hedgefund, or wallstreet related investor.   They are outright aggressively bad mouthing boomers as a cult and posting violent images!  After reading posts about GME PLTR TSLA and others, this market has significantly changed.  Many of the "pops" charted here are due to many tens of thousands of robinhooders ganging together and all betting their entire $2-5,000 savings (called a YOLO, you only live once) in an effort to massively move the stock.  We are talking a very very large number of poor uneducated people with a deep hatred to wallstreet or anybody with wealth.  Yikes.  This is making me re-think every position to the point of: I cannot take a position without checking Reditt WallStreetBets.    I sincerely hope that the era of Free Trades is reversed to stop this madness.
