Yes unfortunately Ninja does not allow for trades on the X axis
as far as I can tell by poking around the board although this has
been suggested. That said though the date axis curves look
generally similar to BPTs.
bkout3 and others who use ninja, I have a question: Does
Ninja Trader allow you to test MA back tests on Indexes like the
S&P 500 and Dow, etc? The reason I ask, is that I would
to test which MA's work best on the daily charts going back many
years, I know the 50/200 EMA has worked OKl for the S&P going
back to 1960, but maybe the 40/183 is better? who knows, but
I can't test this in Tradestation, because in Tradestation for some
reason MA strategies don't work on index charts, I have no idea
why. Or if someone here has Tradestation, can you figure out
a way to make the MA strategies work on an index chart? It would be
a good coding project for someone if they have time, thanks
Matt, At first look around it seems that this could not easily
be done except by using SPY (because it is a "tradable instrument")
however there may be a workaround if someone wants to try it or I
can fol with it sometime. See Q&A from board.
You are using dates on your bottom axis?

shouldn't you use number of trades instead of dates. I don't think Ninja allows per trades equity curves
Yes unfortunately Ninja does not

great thanks, I'll see that that can be done in TS.
