I was recently reading an interesting article in S&C that
showed noticeable difference in performance of URE, IYR, and SRS
beyond a day.(Anyone that reads that mag should check it out).
Since 2x ETF are designed to mimic daily performance vs. longer
periods shouldn't we be assessing how IYR chart looks instead?

any reason why SRS is moving sideways while SPX has gone lower than Wednusday close. SRS should be 9.90 or above by now.

Take a look at SRS on the Daily Chart. The Bollinger Bands are pinching pretty good and have been for about 2 weeks.
Could be a big move coming ............

yes of course, we discuss that all the time, that's why I have 1X ETF's on the watch list for swing trade shorts instead of 2X and 3X
