It's not entirely clear why Roubini's comments in Istanbul are getting so much play this morning, but here goes: "I see the risk of a correction, especially when the markets now realize that the recovery is not rapid and V-shaped, but more like U- shaped."

I knew enough to exit the market in October 2007 when Greenspan was still declaring that there was no housing bubble and the economy was strong.  It infuriates me that what he says still makes headlines.  He presided over this whole mess.  Then he says it was a big surprise that no one could have predicted.  Plenty of people predicted it.  Just like Bernake being re-appointed.  Watch clips of Bernake from 2006 and 2007.  Economy is strong, no problem, no housing bubble.  These guys may be smart but they have proved themselves incompetent, with no foresight.
