thanks for the posts, doctor.  I made some nice money on SRS yesterday.  Let's see what kind of bounce we get.

    I'm really suprised how Kass

Posted by dylan398 on 3rd of Mar 2009 at 09:58 am

I'm really suprised how Kass was adamint that we were putting in a Yearly low in the next 3 days.......I've heard him make some calls.....but not like that.

    well, even the ultra bears

Posted by matt on 3rd of Mar 2009 at 10:11 am

well, even the ultra bears have mostly covered.  The big Elliot Wave guys like Prechter (who is the biggest bear around) covered his shorts, though he had such huge gains and from such a good price from back in the summer where he entered, why not cover.  His point in covering was that he had significant gains and felt that since primary wave A is in it's final stages, and even though he sees a little more downside to go, why risk it as there is considerable risk for a huge short position of thousands of ES contracts.  Now folks playing several hundred shares of ultra short ETFs, no big deal, but working out of a large position, you can't just hit the sell at market button, you have to scale out

    re: ultra bears covering, that

re: ultra bears covering, that sure argues for another push down in my twisted contrarian mind.  Perverse logic to these markets....

    I am always frightened when

Posted by dylan398 on 3rd of Mar 2009 at 10:54 am

I am always frightened when bears announce they've covered....if the Stochastics weren't so low.....it would make me bearish

but if a bull said he sold

Posted by delane on 3rd of Mar 2009 at 10:56 am

in a bull market would it make you buy?

    I meant they LIE....

    Ignorance or Arrogance???

steve:  I think 94/96 is all the bounce into $DJR, that puts 86 the bottom for SRS today IMO

    Kass went long a few

Kass went long a few weeks ago - probably desperate to get a rally behind him.
