I think it was back in 2006 that Citi and Wells Fargo were
accused of not making enough loans available to marginal borrowers
and were going to be sued by the US government. This is a
sham, it's embarassing.
You are right, Ralph. A threat of lawsuits for not loaning
enoughto more subprime borrowers..and from some of the same
Congress idiots grilling them, Re When warned of the potential
damage B. Frank said "I'd like to roll the dice a little on more
loans."
