Best time is when more volume is seen on the December contract
than the September contract. You may want to avoid trading
futures without a full understanding of how they work.
Thanks, I've been trading the rev to mean systems for many years
and futures for a year or two. No issues, understand most of the
nuances. First time with a rollover contract and assumed with the
system taking a new trade (rsi 40) there would be some guidance
issued on the rollover.
Hi Steve, do you perhaps have a link to a website which would
give one basic education regarding futures trading? I'm not quite
ready to start on that, but I would like to learn before I begin.
Many thanks!

Some tidbit info on ES Futures.
ES Futures - $12.50 per $0.25 move so 1 full point = $50
MES Futures - $1.25 per $0.25 move so 1 full point = $5.00
Some trading platforms have day trading rules. Think or Swim
requires you to have $25k in your account to day trade. When you
trade Futures, the $25k does not apply. But you do have to have a
minimum of $20,721.00 in your account to trade 1 Future. (That
figure changes sometimes) Think or Swim charges $3.35 per side to
trade /ES Futures so to buy and sell 1 future, the commissions are
$6.70
ES Futures trade from 6pm EST Sunday to 5pm EST Friday. They
close everyday at 5pm EST and reopen 1 hour later at 6pm EST
Hello isplat - I do not have a such a link but you can do a
search for that topic and spend some time reviewing. Price
action of ES will mimic SPY/SPX but they trade overnight and
involve leverage.
Best time is when more

Thanks Steve. I'll do some searching of my own. Since I do trade options and CFDs, I am quite familiar with leverage.
