I think that exact type of sentiment about huge sums of money is
part of the disaster. We're being conned into thinking it's
monopoly money and our sense of what's large or not is completely
skewed, probably past recovery.
It would be different if the large sums of money being
disbursed existed - it doesn't exist yet. It's deficit spending and
will have to be printed, diluting our currency further.
