momentum hold condition

that momentum hold condition clearly screwed us this time on those mean reversion systems.

here's an example showing the systems with it on (left) and off (on the right).  Again because these are mean reversion systems at their heart, in the future we're always going to exit 1/2 once the mean reversion condition occurs just to be safe agains instances like this. Obviously when that hold condition works out you make more money by not exiting 1/2 but from now on we'll just exit 1/2 after the mean reversion.  Again I can't do anything about the current trade, all I can do is make adjustments/improvments and plans for the future trades.

anyway no fun with losing trades. But in the long term all this is a statistics game and not all about the last trade, the systems over the long term work out, but once in a while we get a bugger, it's no fun to take a hit.

    Matt, you might consider using

Matt, you might consider using the momentum hold but exit when the 2RSI goes from overbought then falling below 80
