Average Americans should be VERY happy about this dollar strength...but that doesn't seem to be the narrative. When I'm overseas, people seem much more cognizant of the impact of moves in their currency and they talk about strength in their currencies like people talk about strength in meme stocks here in the USA. I guess maybe because they travel more? It's much easier to see how it's a benefit when you travel abroad.
