Really shows the dominance of the US over the last 3 decades, coming into the digital/information age. The top 6 S&P holdings (AAPL, MSFT, AMZN, NVDA, GOOG(L)) alone have been exponential during this time. Thirty years ago, AAPL was something like $0.30/share (split adjusted) and worth a meager $3B. Its up +650x in that time. It's stunning to think about that growth when you look at some charts because these are not small companies either.

    SONY -0.5x
