ETF approval? Is there news? I would be shocked if it doesn't
get rejected like all the other applications. It would fly in the
face of the most recent Ginsler interview and cause the SEC all
kinds of legal problems since it could be essentially contrued as
an official US Gov approval of the industry. I hope I'm wrong!
Ginsler directly suggested that RIAs not get involved with
crypto because of regulatory concerns...he didn't really mince his
words either. However, if an ETF does magically get approved, I
will be buying the gap higher!

Blackrock Bitcoin ETF? I understand there are at
least three of the major financial giants that have submitted
requests for approval. Blackrock carries a lot of weight as
we all know. All it takes is one of them to get approval and
the flood begins. Just look at the price action of
bitcoin relative so some of these names - somethings' up for
sure.

Nothing new. Big firms have been applying for bitcoin ETF's for
years now...and getting rejected time after time. Yes,
blackrock is almost the Gov (they ran the bond buying program
during the pandemic, etc) and definitely has an inside track. But I
think they just did it so they could tell their clients "at least
we tried." Crypto and the potential disintermediation of the
financial sector is the single biggest threat to many of the most
powerful people in the world and threatens the power of the FED via
monetary policy. They smile and talk nice about it...but it's
an enemy to them. They would have killed it in the cradle if
they had any idea...but they completely underestimated it and now
they are trying to figure out how to kill it without violating the
constitution...and pissing off the electorate that doesn't
understand the ultimate power of dollar hegemony.

I also read that Cathy Wood is adding bitcoin / crypto exposure to three of her funds - so yes, I think the crypto winter may be over.
