The challenge for me with BPT recommended stocks (just as with
any other stocks) is deciding when to take quick profits and when
to let it ride. For example, I took losses on CMRX and LYEL because
I didn't cash in soon enough. But when I took a small profit on XP
after its recovery, it proceeded to gain another 30% or more. Sure,
I could have set a trailing stop on XP, but then it might have
turned into a loser.
Still a fickle market. Would rather be out early with a
profit than overstay my welcome. I use 5 minute charts when
I'm in for a trade. Entered XMTR Friday, rode the 5 minute
candles up today, then when I saw a gravestone candlestick about 30
minutes ago followed by a red candle, I put a tight stop and was
taken out at $23.32. Made good money, I'm okay if it makes another
run without me.

I’ve had the same problem.

I’ve had the same problem. Good to see they work for some and great to see those big moves but I stick to system trades with clear entries and exits.
