That's my method but with 16 delta. I get "touched" often enough
as it is - I spent much of 2022 defending positions that got
touched. I did surprisingly well in 2022 when most people lost
money, but the defense is stressful. I can't even imagine how
stressful it would be if I was at 30 delta instead of 16.
I'll check out the video though. I typically like their
content.

Yes, unless I have achieved my target profit for the period in
question. Then I'll just close for the loss and move to the next
month, or roll out and up/down.

Do you defend your position by closing for a loss and doubling up with higher prices? Your max loss is limited with a call spread.
