Yes, steve, I have been tracking that recently and last night
looked at divergences between $VVIX and $VIX in the last year.
There is no consistent pattern other than this: when a divergence
occurs it tends to signal an inflection point, though there are a
couple exceptions where the reaction was muted. Put it in the
curiosity category for now, but I am going to follow this moving
forward
VIX should be putting a divergent low today, as per my
understanding of Steve's comments. A divergent high on the indexes
-- one last spike higher -- may still come tomorrow. This should
complete the picture for this whole scenario.
