one of my favorite trading setups, I look for these on multiple
time frames
the example I'm showing on a 3 min MES chart where I took a
short on earlier, but again the setup is fractal meaning it sets up
on a 5 min, 15 min, 60 min, daily, whatever
this setup had everything lining up for a short:
Conditions for setup: MACD KISS/Stochastic overbought setup,
along with a 1st pinch/squeeze on the MA ribbon. You also had the
60 Stochastic testing underside of 50%
for these setups you get your trigger not off the indicators;
remember the indicators are to alert you to look for a trigger off
of the price candles. In this case your trigger was 1 tick below
that doji and you would have placed an immediate stop 1 tick above
that doji for a tight entry and stop. Profit targets can either be
a ratio of risk/reward: for example a 1:1, or a 1:3 meaning you
calculate your target based on the point value of your stop: so if
your stop was was 3 points from entry, then a 1:1 would be a target
of 3 points, a 3: 1 would be a target of 9 points etc . Anohter
target in this case would be simply when the fast 5 length
Stochastic got oversold
you can get close with a Hull type of MA, I'm using a 15 or 21
MA length typically and it's set to turn red and green by the
slope. My BPT MA I'm using a Hull type MA that is further modified
with an EMA, etc
again some Hull or Jurik will get you close enough. I wouldn't
pay for Jurik this day and age, you can find plenty of free stuff
that's close enough
one of my fav setups

Matt, if we don't have the BPT MA Deluxe, what ribbon do you reccommend for the pinch?
first off you can view

first off you can view it from those live charts I post, will show for you but obviously you can't then use it for other personal charts
Try a very fast responding moving average such as a jurik zero lag MA (that's pretty much what my BPT MA mirrors), http://jurikres.com/catalog1/ms_ama.htm
