FYI the SPY Stoch Rev short is exiting today at the close - A
small winner from yesterday's entry and a loser from the 1st entry.
As I stated yesterday, the system was nearing it's stop indicator
stop out price.
Outside of the system if one thought the market could have
follow through to the downside a couple options would be to close
place a stop on the position and close out the rest on another day
if prices close down, or split the difference and close 1/2 today
and the rest on another down day
Obviously if anyone held that SPY Stoch Rev - good job - was one
of options I gave to either sell 1/2 yesterday or wait and place a
stop. Too bad it closed out 1 day before the drop.
But even if you exited the SPY Stoch short, you should have
still had the ES short open from the DVDS. which is up nicely
today!
another good example of using signals on both SPY and ES,
so while the SPY closed out, the ES short DID NOT
Matt, I hold a full position on the SPY Stoch Rev trade. Please
advise on the exit if different from the other subsystem. You said
it could last for days if successful.
secondly - it's outside of the system so now it becomes a
subjective trade, no more system. Best to use your standard tech
analysis now. We post 15, 30, 60 min charts, use those as reference
guides, and of course major trendlines and MA's and support levels
as guides
Thanks, Matt! I covered a half of that SPY put position just now
near the trendline support. I will restore this position after a
bounce today into the close.
that TICK levels chart is useful - I like those a bit more than
the other ES levels because the past levels don't change, well
makes it easier for me to manage as I'm not having to move the
lines a few points here and there, and only add new lines as new
ones show up.
as I showed, ES was in an air pocket - with no TICK level
support until at least 3972 - now price is melting into that thin
zone

I cannot watch ticks, as I am at work. I can watch the price. That is why you, Matt, and Steve are my eyes and ears during the day!
