This week has been brutal ever since Monday when we should have
tanked. Bought a few NFLX calls thinking it may rally into
close, didn't, sold them at a small loss then kicked myself for not
hanging onto at least one. I bought 1 TSLA call today to see
i can make up for it. I swear every 3rd car on the road I saw
yesterday was a TSLA. I think the market finds a way to
3800...hopefully by Friday.
Besides the occasional individual idea that really lights my
fire I found a much more comfortable approach which is ETFs
this idea was put out here by fundamental values and I thank him
for it It takes away a lot of the craziness and has slowed
me down in a positive way as an example rather than picking the
perfect tech stock the past few days I’ve been trading SOXL which I
posted in the community chance to increase my size and 20 and $.30
moves or more add up
ES completed 5 waves up on 15-min charts with a high last night.
On 1-hour charts, it is in wave 4 which could retest 3660 or even
3600. A suggestion for you is to get an indicator with a wave count
on your preferred time frame. PM if you wish to know what I
use. As for a market direction, you are correct. I use 9 and
18 EMA on 1-hour charts and look for a crossover. The direction is
down at the moment. FWIW.

I’m a lost puppy. “My plan” didn’t work out. This looks like a Wave 4 to me. Do we have a target? (Like 3642?) Or retest of breakout line?
I was heavily long on the open, went more neutral, and now short. Any thoughts? Any help appreciated.

Thanks, watcdy! Great idea. Looks like I may get whipsawed again tonight and still don’t have the expertise to deal with the options volatility.

I stopped out to lock

I stopped out to lock in a profit, using UPRO triple long, needed IB tech support to set up the One Cancels All bracket, glad I called them.
