discussed last night a bit, just using some common sense,
observing that MA ribbon on the quarterly chart and how expanded it
got, long long will it take for that MA ribbon to revert back to a
normal state where the MA ribbon is more flattened. I'm not even
saying to a state where it would go negative, just back to a more
flattened state? That could take 2 or 3 years perhaps.
The close price on this chart is 4,271 from April 22, 2022.
Wonder how it looks now with current prices where they are. I
clicked the "view live chart" hyperlink in the newsletter though it
didn't work for me for some reason.
thanks for spotting that, looks like our chart got set to an end
date and wasn't updating. But do you really think 5 months will
really matter on quarterly charts? that's gonna take a long time
man. anyway thanks for spotting that, I corrected that on our chart
in Stockcharts
Thanks Matt, I like the 9 year moving average chart you showed
in the newsletter. Currently coming in at 3,166. I think the SPX
testing that 9 year or overshooting would be a tremendous
opportunity for swings. One day at a time though.
something to ponder
