The systems and our analysis are mutually exclusive to one
another. That said, the systems carry some value over our
subjective analysis for the following reason.
Even if our market analysis or roadmap that we presented over
the last 2 months has been pretty damn spot on, what it lacks over
our system trades is the 100% mechanical nature and lack of
interpretation. We analyze the market and present roadmaps with
target levels and pointing out resistance and support where traders
could act on to initiate very nice trades on the market to make
profits. That said, the hurdle for some people, even a lot of
people is that you have to 1. listen to all the newsletters, read
our commentary. 2. You have to understand it well enough to then
formulate a plan. 3. You have to get past your emotion and initial
your own trades. It's a lot to get through. Just because you
tell someone how to say build a chair or something, doesn't mean
they will follow your instructions entirely and go off on some
tangent. Or just like if you give 10 people an old style road map,
they may not all take the same paths/roads from the map and
interpret it differently.
The systems have one up on our analysis in that there is no
interpreting a roadmap, analysis, patterns, and figuring our what
to trade and when to initiate the trade. The systems are clear cut
mechanical no emotion and disciplined with money management - they
go long on x date SPY or SSO or UPRO or MES and you do the same.
When they scale out you scale out, and when they exit you exit.
Just that simplicity and removing of the subscriber having to
interpret analysis, you know what to enter, when to enter, and when
to exit makes them valuable. And of course lately they have
captured more points in the market off the lows than that market
has
Matt -- Good summary of the services at BPT. The
analysis for the experienced trader (or those wanting to
learn); and the Systems (SPY and KISS) for those less experienced
or don't have the time to actually "trade the market". Don't
forget to emphasize the education aspect that you and Steve provide
on nearly daily basis. With the right marketing, you guys
should be swamped with subscribers. In any case, I am glad
someone suggested I look at your site over ten years ago.
