I think the timeframe depends on the person on what they find
effective. I can't imagine trading off charts that are just a
handful or seconds per candle but some people are successful. I've
found the 15 min for day trading MES to be better for me because
it's slower, and I don't get as chopped up as on a 3-5 min.
Obviously depending on what you use as a trigger, you won't get as
many on the higher timeframe, then a 1-3 min.
