What timeframe charts for ES

What timeframe charts for ES are you folks finding most effective? I've been experimenting with lower times like 1 and 3 minute, but there's so much noise that I don't see the value. Thoughts?

    Definitely depends on your trading

Definitely depends on your trading style. My plan calls for entering longs when 15 min chart is oversold and short when it's overbought...but that's assuming I'm also positioned relatively well on the 2 hour times frame. I trade about 75% option spreads...closer to 95% these days...so it gives me more wiggle room. Still, you don't want to put on a long biased spread trade intended to last 3 weeks if the 2 hour chart is overbought and/or their is significant divergence. If I was constructing spreads with LEAPS, I would change the time frames I use to trigger.

    I think the timeframe depends

I think the timeframe depends on the person on what they find effective. I can't imagine trading off charts that are just a handful or seconds per candle but some people are successful. I've found the 15 min for day trading MES to be better for me because it's slower, and I don't get as chopped up as on a 3-5 min. Obviously depending on what you use as a trigger, you won't get as many on the higher timeframe, then a 1-3 min.
