You need to select the left chart. Go to the 4 squares on
the top menu next to indicators....Save it as a template....Then
click the right chart and load the template, click on 4 squares
again and then click the template you just saved. Then save
your overall chart at the top....You should see a little cloud
looking thing....here's an image....
another question - how do I get the cursor to be globally on all
charts so if I pan to the past, the cursor follows on the other
charts? Also, I want the playback to be universal across all charts
so if I have 3 charts and I do a playback, I want that playback
showing up on all time frames

I don't think you can do the playback on all timeframes! I was looking for that too. see attached on syncing....
