Trades are not working in

Trades are not working in my portfolio. I think I need a refresh (like another SPY system trade would be nice...). Reflation/back-to-normal stocks are bust, 'infra' stocks are bust, alt energy stocks have been killed, EV space is a bust (with the exception of TSLA, somewhat), energy stocks keep getting sold, meme stocks (small/mid high tech) and SPAC are dead. One of my dividend stocks crashed 12% yesterday (wtf..).

What is working? Gold/silver and bond? I don't have those... Trading in big tech laggards (ones who haven't regained ATH) is still sort of working but easy money has been made, probably.

Thanks for sharing and want you to know you aren't the only one.  The latest one was getting my ass handed to me courtesey of MARA.  Trade ideas have been for highly skilled traders (with lots of capital to buy the stocks with tight stops as opposed to options).  It's been hit and run and frankly the trades that have worked best have been the PAIN trades.  The market has been doing what it does best which is screwing anyone who thinks they know what they are doing or where the market is going !

Bull or bear you get fucked in this market, where dogecoin goes stupendously up and Elon Musk tweets "everything to the moon". I'm thinking not doing anything may be the best course right now but then Nasdaq futures turns green and FOMO comes back in me.

MARA - if I didn't try to 'trade' and just held on to the share after I purchased in November last year, I would have nothing to worry now. MARA at that time was $2.88. I think I sold it at $6 or so. Ouch.

I had some non precious metals miners end the week strong. Some REITs and homebuilders have been on a tear but doesn't feel great time to get an entry into them at the moment for me. Utilities. Some food/drink consumer staples names that had a sharp 1-2 day drop end of last week and worked back up this week. Some consumer discretionary brands

Thank you! I tend to NOT look up and look around to see what else is happening, and that often results in losing gains unnecessarily.

I got knocked around a bit trying to do some of these high volatility names that had run up a bunch already. Looking at some slower moving stuff again. Some individual foreign country ETF's/some emerging markets ETFs also had a decent week.

I'm also keeping an eye on that wedge/consolidation in some energy names
