I could just load up on SPY calls on Monday, sell them on Friday
for a good profit, rinse and repeat. Would make more money than
whatever I'm trying to do.

Tell me about it ! I did say the pain trade was gonna be
to just push higher several weeks ago before the S&P broke out
and the pain seems to just continue...
