DGNR, one of the SPACs
fundamentalvalueswas good enough to share with us today has an interesting
chart. The volume today was impressive. There are also divergences
on RSI(5) and CCI(14). The moving averages are bearishly stacked,
but conversely the moving average ribbon is very wide. Caveat
emptor, but I am taking a nibble.

Follow up on DGNR. The last week has been very constructive. It
has climbed over the 9 ema and today is trying to establish itself
above the 20 ma after closing just above it yesterday. Tip of the
cap to
fundamentalvaluesfor sharing this SPAC with us. DGNR has a deal to merge
with CCC Information Services, which provides a
software-as-a-service platform to the property and casualty
insurance industry. That deal is expected to close in Q2 2021.
Thanks, looking good so far. Going much higher longer term.
Amazing we were able to buy it near $10 after it being at $16 when
they announced. There are a handful of lifetime opportunities in
some of the spacs. The market paints them with a broad brush and
its a huge mistake.

I agree that I see a lot of disparaging comments about the SPAC
phenomenon, but I think that's the easy judgment. There has been an
over-proliferation of them, it seems, and some give the concept a
bad name. But others have reputable people with a strong track
record involved and are an avenue for legitimate businesses with
good financials to get listed.

THBR is another one that has made a constructive move. I had an
open buy order on it a couple days ago but my price did not get hit
and I lost track of it. Big move today, up 5%.
Yes, 7% of my account in THBR when it hit that low $10 area. I
have warrants and looking for a big return over time. As I
mentioned prior, I do significant dd in advance, then when the
market gives me an opportunity, I have a list of conviction buys
ready. Knowing I have the fundamentals and technicals with me
separates me from 99% out there. "Fundamentals tell you what to
buy, technicals tell you when to buy it."
Thanks for sharing the chart. As always, look under the hood and
you will see very impressive fundamentals. It is what I focus on
primarily when I start my lists. Then we just wait for attractive
prices if we ever get them. We sure have them now on more than a
few names. That list I shared has more than a few multibaggers in
it.
The profit moat around DGNR is amazing. This isn't some hope it
will work business. It is well established and growing in a high
demand global market. 96% recurring software revenue, 20+
consecutive years of growth. CCC has 34% adjusted margins. I love
that they serve the "boring" P&C insurance business. The need
to assess/process claims faster and less expensively is enormous.
Their technology is sticky and makes doing business easy. I've
spoken to some in the industry on both sides of serving the
customer and it is all they have used for years. Their US business
is impressive, though I think many miss that 4 out China's top 5
insurers use the CCC platform. There is risk with any investment,
though I'm not sure what else can be done to remove risk from this
one. Lifetime opportunity for an investor. As you pointed out
setting up as a pretty good trade here as well. Someone made a huge
buy yesterday, millions.
