$ARKKa bit back we
were discussing buy points for the fund on 5, 10, and 15%
pullbacks. Given the new highs yesterday, the new buy points would
be $146.20, $138.50, and $130.81. I find it interesting that it
would take a 15% pullback just to get down near the 50 day ma.
Shows how strong this rally as been. Keep in mind, Cathie looks 5
years out when she makes new buys in the fund and seeks a discount.
She has a similar process when selling assets if they don't feel
they will get the targeted growth desired from the investment. Fund
holdings:

There will be draw downs at some point, though when buying you
have the best chance for future growth in this fashion. If you
apply the DVT rule, then you can keep your gains from the massive
growth along the way and invest again at the discount. Whatever
works for you in managing things with your tools/strategies.
Everything working for you and none of the work for research,
buying, or selling anything. It is why I own it in a dollar cost
averaging fashion with a five year outlook.
She cut her teeth finding investments that nobody knew about
because at the large firms where she worked all of the ideas were
taken to management before she could get a seat at the table. Today
the name Cathie Wood is one everyone knows. I enjoyed this recent
interview with her on her typical day and process:
