Wild morning - a little bit for everyone today with the gap,
fade and bounce (on retest). Personally running on fumes so
will refrain from overtrading today.
imelhoe - I have been trading quite actively today. Taking
some hedge on the initial bounce to the .38 Fib and then covering
on the retest. Keeping some bigger picture hedges in place
from earlier to offset long exposure. Develop a PLAN that
coincides with your portfolio and approach first and foremost.
Execution of trades is secondary.
Expect VOLATILITY with the VIX elevated - simple as that.
We cannot spend all day commenting on every gyration so have
a plan and execute accordingly. Better to avoid the intraday
gyrations unless that's your type of approach and very nimble.
Have some due diligence to work on so will be away from chat
next couple hours.
