I don't think this will be anywhere like 2009 housing situation, this one didn't go up on fraud, 5% down payments and no underwriting standards.  Anyone who's purchased or refinanced a home in the last 3 year knows underwriters weren't lending to people who weren't going to pay them back.. Price will probably drop a little but given these low rates we aren't crashing.  Richest people in the world all have something in common and I bet that the richest people you know probably all have the same thing in common. They all own real estate. Find the best location properties in this next 12 months and buy and hold.
