yes good points. Also think about this - a brand new
trader: it's much worse if a new trader takes say 10K and turns it
into 50K right away, vs taking 10K and turning it into $3K. Because
the new trader who turns 10K into 50K right from the get go, they
think they have it figured out, they didn't go through hard lessons
that caused them to get rid of bad habits and being disciplined,
money management. Because now the new trader that turned 10K
into 50K or 100K, will probably turn that back into 10K or 3K.
You have to go through the 'pain' hard lessons unfortunately
to learn these things. You have to go through the hard
lessons when trading, better to get it over with early on.
and of course because we are talking about humans - everyone is
different, some people learn much faster, and others may have to go
through this a few times blowing up accounts before they get it.
It's not about how smart you are, it's about emotion.
Heck some of the smartest guys I've talked to were the WORST
traders I've seen.
also - there's a book out there that talks about how
former professional athletes tend to make the best traders because
they learned to handle their emotions during their career
yes good points. Also think
For the short term it should be a good time ...
