Can anyone here point me in the direction of a good on-line
broker for trading futures and stocks/ETF's? I use Scottrade now
and I love their platform but I want to be able to trade futures.
Any help would be much appreciated.

if you're turning over 5000 shares a month, tradestation is free.

IB is not bad for future trading...Tradestation is also good...
