I lived in China until 17 yr old. From my sources, the economic
activities there are still well below normal levels (we can fee
that from recent economic numbers), even though the spread of Virus
has been under control. In some ways I think service-based
economies could be more vulnerable to social distancing - the
demand for most manufactured goods (e.g. cars) are just delayed,
but we won't be eating 5 meals a day in the future to make up for
the loss.
