Hello everyone, an FYI regarding the SPY systems, the CCI sub
system may close out its long position today at the close, I'll
follow up with a confirmation email then. If the CCI sub
system exits, this leaves open the Trend/Pullback and QE BTS
so regarding the QE BTS system - a one day hold condition
triggered because of the deeply oversold market, that sometimes is
enough to allow the momentum hold condition to turn green and hold
the trade longer for bigger trades. however in this case the
momentum is trending down so strongly that it's impossible to go
green tomorrow. Had I known this I would have simply closed the
trade out today.
so with this knowedge do what fits your style - it's impossible
to close out the options now but you could close the ETF if you
felt like it
again on that QE BTS you could exit ETF's in after hrs if you
wanted, too late to exit options. Just to be clear the system
will be exiting tomorrow. I may however elect to exit before the
end of day, any time of the day basically I may elect to send the
exit. Hopefully the market holds up fine so we can lock in
some profits on that one too, obviously the 2nd entry will be
profitable no matter what unless we crash 200 points tonight, knock
on wood LOL.
also guys should we rally up further it's possible that some of
these short systems may start to trigger
those CCI options did well. anyway some risk reduced and profit
locked in. I would have thought the QE BTS would have exited
as well, trying to figure out what condition is holding it. It met
it's first exit objection, I suppose one option I could have taken
with that one was to exit 1/2 of it, but oh well. Anyway once I
figure out what's causing it to hold I'll let you know.
guys quick question, I noticed the option strike price I have on
the trades table for the second entry CCI trade does NOT match what
I had in the email, my email said the 300 strike price and my table
shows 296.
can a few of you send me what price you paid for the 300 Strike
price (as long as it was that same day LOL) pm that to me
please
