Matt and Steve - thank you for the short trade. I am new to your
system, have been with you just about two weeks, and took
this trade. I used OTM SPY puts 2 month out, and it worked out
nicely!
Got out of SPY PUTs about 1/2 hour ago for a +23% gain.
Admittedly I had been getting nervous as the SPY continued to
chug higher this week... as I had a 5% position...(!).
the trade is no where close to closing out. This trade is not
like the exhaustion trade, the average hold time is around 13 days,
however some can hold for 1 - 2 months, whereas the exhaustion
trade the avg hold time is only 5 - 6 days
again for the nervous nellies out there you can close your trade
now and lock in a healthy profit then not worry about it.
but as far as this trade - it's not closing out anytime soon. I
expected the market to bounce today because it was extremely
oversold yesterday, however this correction may still take some
time to unfold, maybe this is a B wave and then we have a C wave
down later on, if all that happens it's possible this trade could
go negative and even take a 2nd entry, who knows. but it
ain't closing out anytime soon

question---- spy is below your exhaustion # 330.32 does mean if it closes here or lower the system would issue close the trade signal ?

intra day 15 min ago would have been a good place to lighten up on that SPY short.
we've had the ABC down, now whether that is it remains to be seen.
next week mid to late week we have a lot of big names reporting: TSLA, AMD, AAPL, FBmaybe the market will bounce next week into those?
