SPY system comments, ES system, etc

Interestingly on my ES systems the Bear Long triggered yesterday, that trade doesn't occur very often and generally in bear markets, not always. The SPY sub system version did not trigger however.

here's a couple images; the first shows all the long sub systems for ES, mostly similar to SPY, Trend took a 2nd entry yesterday, QE BTS took a 1st entry, the less probable Strap took a trade but the more stringent one did not. and Bear long.

the second image shows the long sub systems on SPY: Trend and Strap took second entries, QE BTS took a 1st entry yesterday, bear long did not, and bull exhaust 2 triggered.

Interestingly today the CCI system is looking to go long on SPY. Yes market is off yesterday's lows but that's how that system can work, the same sub system is not triggering for ES. good stats on the CCI, which I show in the next image.  The last image shows the combined SPY systems, the CCI is the one on the bottom right. So I kind of have to send this out today as a trade alert if it goes even though we already have a lot on the table. On this image you can see 6 charts: Trend on the left, longs in the middle top, QE  bottom middle, and CCI on the bottom right, the bar at the bottom means that it's looking to trigger if conditions are still met at the close

regarding the CCI trade, it has good stats with a 500 profit factor, however in 2008 one trade did have  16% draw down, other than that one trade, the average draw down is 1 - 3% on average.

here's that particular trade from 2008 from the CCI sub system that had the big draw down, on the chart, looks just fine, all three entries made money, however that was 2008 so normal moves were just big, especially in the fall of that year Oct and that's why the draw down on the first entry is that large even though the trade looks just fine on the chart
