SPX & RUT over the past couple months? While large-caps
are about 1% away from all-time highs, small-caps are still over
10% away. The fundamentals say this is simply a shift away
from riskier small-caps. Do you think this is an opportunity
for RUT or a warning sign for the overall market?
the divergence is something we've been pointing out for weeks
and weeks, it's one of those things that doesn't tell you when the
divergence will play out. Those things can last weeks and
months at times. Best to note it, but get triggers from the
standard charts. It's also not present on the SPX Large cap
vs small cap adv decline that was showing a nice div in late Feb.
Nor the other charts we like to compare like SPX vs SPXE or
QQQ vs QQQE etc
