First off my TS has cashed a few times - Tradestation does not do well on these high volume sell of days, it tends to get overwhelmed.  Anyway SPY system pretty close to exiting. my guess would be Thur.  Remember on Monday I said the gap was a good place to take some profits into.  

I'm also still not finished retooling the SPY - probably the final version will be two charts, one for all the longs and one for all the charts.  Basically an All Shorts SPY system and an ALL Longs SPY system. We won't bother messing with all the individual sub systems, we simply have all the long systems on one chart, and all the short systems on a second chart.  I think that way makes the most sense as the shorts can overlap the longs and hedge the trades. For example the Shorts only version of the SPY Pro system went short on Monday, therefor would have been a great hedge on this long.  The long is still profitable of course but clearly has given a lot back today.  

As far as sending trades, pretty easy to do that:  When the Long only version is long you are long either SPY ETF or a call option that I suggest. And when the Shorts only version is short, you are either short SPY shares or long SH (the -1X ETF), or long a put option that I suggest.  

anyway I'm happy that the market is closed tomorrow, will give me all day to work on that stuff without the distraction of the market.

Also funny, my wife doesn't know that the market is closed tomorrow.  If she knew it was she would fill my day with a bunch of dump crap honey do's to work on LOL. Don't tell her!
