Lamb - that loss relates primarily to non cash items (stock
issued etc) and is old news (I'm more interested in what to expect
in 2019 and beyond). Thus, I have a spec position do to the
evolution of the industry and new prospects for the company as they
transition to cultivation and processing. I suggest you
examine ALL such Cannabis plays in depth (do some due diligence)
and you will notice that even the larger players are losing money
as is the case in emerging industries. Clearly, this is an early
stage speculation but I want some exposure to this sector and SLTK
is 1/10 the price of most Canadian and other US plays based upon
revenue. As I've stated, you are welcome to phone to discuss more
in depth and my advice is to avoid if it doesn't match with your
objectives. As I've stated numerous times, best to
wait for price action to reverse prior to adding as a
trade.
Roger - just like farming the EFFICIENT growers will prevail
(not mom and pops). It takes a substantial investment and
EXPERTISE to become an effective grower. The big market is
for Cannabis Oil which needs to processed.
Yesterday, a group announced that they plan to build a $7.5
million dollar single dispensary store in Las Vegas.
Roger - you forgot one thing. You must have a LICENSE (very
limited numbers awarded) to grow it legally unlike flowers.

I don't think so. Does everyone grow their own food?
Some do, most don't. The fact that some individuals
choose to have vegetable gardens hasn't dampened demand. Most
people don't have a green thumb, aren't set up to grow cannabis,
don't want to invest in equipment, supplies, etc., and prefer to
spend their time doing other things.

This may seem obvious, but once its legalized wont everybody and their cousins be growing their own? Bound to damper demand.

I equate it to how many people grow flowers and plants in and about their homes. Just about everybody. Minimal cost and people enjoy it.
The oil aspect is a little more complicated but probably not much. I'm skeptical about the big numbers being thrown around.
